Almost, but not quite yet.
It's been cool the last few weeks, nights dipping into the 40s. That has retarded the blooming of many prairie plants, the prickly pear among them. If we get some warm weather now, on top of all this moisture, I predict an explosion of color on the prairie.

I don't know if you harvest your prickly pear fruit, but it's very good. Good to eat fresh, or as a jam. I made a batch of mead (technically a melomel) a few years back that flavored with prickly pear puree. Very good!
That should provide some good photo opportunities for you. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
It's been unusually cool here. Nice as far as comfort in the house, but not sure how it's affecting all that's growing here.
The weeds around here seem to think they are kudzu, judging by the way they are growing.
