That's more like it

I guess the Weather Gods heard me bragging about the 70°-ish weather we were having for a few blissful days last week. Anyway, they responded.

We now have about 8" of snow on the flat and this morning my two outside thermometers read -20° out front (the south side) and -22° out back.

Maybe I should learn to keep my mouth shut.

Actually, that sounds pretty good. No one is going to come around and bug you. How's your satellite system holding up in this weather? I've had a very few glitches with mine, usually when we had snow.

No, I don't get bothered. I can go almost a month without seeing another homo sapiens. (At least they CLAIM to be homo sapiens!)

System working well so far. We had a helluva snow storm here the other day and it soldiered thru OK. Wish it wasn't so expensive though.

Hope daughter OK. Will keep in my thoughts.

I appreciate it. Satellite internet IS expensive, but it's head and shoulders above dial up and the only alternative for people who live way out there.

I'm having trouble getting a post on here, but I'll try again. We have a big storm coming, supposedly like the blizzard of 1993 which is remembered up here with dread. The worst part is a couple of feet of snow, then freezing rain, then more snow followed by a week of sub freezing temperatures. I'm hoping the weather folks are wrong. Seems like you are holding up there OK, despite the cold and snow.

I'll be thinking about you!

We're in a kind of thaw right now.

Seems like when we're getting hammered you are having a false spring and vice versa.

Keep your powder dry.
