High plains sunrise

I confess that I am a sucker for the light on the plains. And for sunrises and sunsets. It's not hard to understand how the quality of light here has inspired awe and wonder in successive generations of residents. This is the view straight out of my bedroom window and you can probably see right away why I do not draw my curtains when I retire for the night.

With all the houses going up around here it's hard to get a good view. Coming here to see your view of the world helps.

On a sidenote. I'm going to Ireland after the holiday. There's a conference in London and a keynote talk, will be easy to slide on over there afterwards.

Have fun in Ireland. Try to get over on the west coast if you can. That's my stompin' grounds, the Dingle Peninsula. Enjoy!
